    Group Intervention

    In the Emergency service fields there is an unspoken expectation for individuals to be “super human” This course will study the reactions to the human stress and response and help discover practical tools for wellness and self-care. This will aid in developing a mindset for post-traumatic growth and resiliency. “Permission to be Human” acknowledges and honors those in the Emergency Services as people with super-human demands placed on them by equipping them with education and support to prepare for the long-haul in their profession.

    One-Day Course: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.


  • What You Will Learn:

    • Summarize the Human Stress Response and the impact it has on mind, body, and spirit.
    • Identify the typical responses to Post Traumatic Stress.
    • Recognize the impact of the “Adrenalin-Driven Lifestyle” at work and home.
    • Differentiate between coping tools and self-medication.
    • Apply healthy skills and techniques to reduce stress.
    • Develop a Post Traumatic Growth & Resiliency Mindset for individuals and work cultures.
